Einstein and the Ancients agree…

Science has long proven that sound, or vibration, has a strong impact on substance. All matter is vibrating at specific frequencies, and so bone, muscle, skin, blood, and the very cells and DNA are affected by the vibrations in one’s environment. Chanting, toning and overtone singing are some of the most powerful methods for resonating sound throughout the body. Barbara’s voice stimulates and balances the body’s physical and subtle energy field to promote healing and inner harmony.
Perhaps even more importantly in modern science is the study of neuroplasticity of the brain and the affect intention has on the growth of neurons within the brain. This is where the human element makes a tremendous difference from a machine. Along with the overtones being emitted are the intentions of healing from both the client and the practitioner. It has also been proven that sound highly affects the “fear center” of the brain. Interestingly, it is also called “the mouth of God”. If we can remove the fear, we open to the Divine.
Many ancient civilizations and modern indigenous cultures have known how to heal and access higher levels of consciousness for thousands of years. Sound was said to have been used in the ancient healing chambers of Egypt and has been proven in clinical studies to improve mental acuity and help relieve depression and much more.
Barbara Keefe Andridge
“I have been working with Subtle Sound for over 30 years. Awakened in Egypt, I received the ability to overtone easily. Many people have reported seeing Angels around me when I sing. “
Barbara’s healing practice bridges science and meta-science. She has had the honor of working with some of the finest sound healers in the world, in many traditions, and is happy to report her work has shown great results on instruments such as EKG machines when tested. The greatest successes, however, are her clients. She has healed arthritis, cancer, kidney stones, emotional blocks, and helped autistic children, among many other things.
Barbara is available for private sessions in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, Florida. She also serves in Cuernavaca, Mexico; Cancun, Quintanaroo; Detroit, Michigan and Greenville, South Carolina.

The overtones that are needed for our body’s re-balancing jump out and sing us back into balance. Simply having the willingness and intention of healing will produce the tones to do its work.
In Indian musical theory it is said that there are two kinds of sound, one a vibration of ether, the other a vibration of air. The vibration of ether, which cannot be perceived in the physical sense, is considered the principle of all manifestation, the basis of all substance. It corresponds to what neo-Pythagoreans called “music of the spheres”. It forms permanent numerical patterns, which are the basis of the world’s existence. This kind of vibration is not caused by a physical shock, as are audible sounds. It is therefore called anahata, “unstruck”. The other kind of sound is an impermanent vibration of air, an image of the ether vibration. It is audible and always produced by a shock. It is therefore called ahata or “struck”. How can a voice be healing?
Sound balancing is a lot like handing the music back to the musician. The immune system balances, the blood purifies, and the harmony of the body is restored. It helps provide healing in many ways:
